The Bayreuth International Summer School (BISS) is jointly hosted by the International Office of the University of Bayreuth and the Campus Academy, the university’s institute for lifelong learning and corporate education. The programme provides an intercultural and dynamic setting reflecting the university's focus areas in research. Taught by both German and international lecturers, you can participate in diverse courses in the fields of applied sciences, international law, economics, and more, which will broaden your knowledge and enable you to profit from an interdisciplinary approach, stimulating discussions as well as practical units, e.g. lab courses and workshops within our on campus Bayreuth International Summer School programme.
Each year, the Bayreuth International Summer School brings students from all over the world together. Taught by both German and international lecturers, the courses in the fields of applied sciences, international law, economics and more will broaden your knowledge. The Summer School enables you to profit from an interdisciplinary approach and stimulating discussions.
For 2021, BISS is organising and planning for a programme in an interactive online format to enable you to join from anywhere in the world or directly from our university campus in Bayreuth, Germany. In addition to the online courses, BISS plans to host events and activities in and around Bayreuth in line with public health regulations.
